One of the most iconic estates in my Toronto wedding photography collection, Casa Loma offers a rare blend of castle architecture, skyline views, and luminous interior spaces — all within the heart of the city.

While the Conservatory’s stained-glass dome and the rich wood-paneled library provide beautiful interior options, the true magic of Casa Loma is its exterior stonework. The grand arches, elevated terrace, and sweeping façade create instant European drama that few Toronto venues can rival.

For skyline views, the back terrace at dusk reveals the CN Tower and city line in full — especially striking as the sky deepens into evening blue. However, for true golden hour warmth, the sun actually sets at the front of the castle. Rather than staying behind the building, stepping back toward the main entrance allows the setting light to cut through the stone arches, producing layered, cinematic beams across the courtyard.
